Yesterday, I heard of the passing of a friend and golf buddy, David Wood (in picture, far left) after a long illness. His brother, Bill (in picture, 4th from left), is one of my supervisors (and a friend). David’s one of the coolest guys I know. Despite his size, he could crank a golf ball, but never let it get to his head. He just enjoyed the game. I am so glad that I had an opportunity to golf again with him last July, and hope that he has a beer waiting for me back in the “clubhouse in the sky”.
